This Skill Set addresses the skills required to handle detector dogs within a custodial environment.

A total of 4 units of competency must be attained. Where a pre-requisite unit is attached to a unit, learners must be assessed as competent in the pre-requisite unit prior to the determination of competency in the subsequent unit.
