Apply anthropometric principles to accessible building design and fitout
Application
This unit of competency specifies the skills and knowledge required to apply concepts associated with human body size and shape to the design and fitout of the environment in which people live and work. It includes using basic statistical techniques, anthropometric data and analysis, and measuring components of body size and shape to identify strategies that will maximise the ability of persons with disability to work and function independently in their environment.
This unit is for individuals who are self-directed and have substantial depth of knowledge and skills to make independent judgements in the provision of access consulting services.
No licensing, legislative or certification requirements apply to this unit at the time of publication.
