Description

This Skill Set reflects the skills and knowledge required by:

  • Autonomous Underwater Vehicles (AUV) and Autonomous Surface Vessels (ASV) Operators
  • AUV and ASV Technicians, or
  • a person managing, leading, or supporting Autonomous Maritime System (AMS) operations.

This Skill Set reflects the skills and knowledge required to conduct AMS operations in Near Coastal (NC) waters within the limits of the operators AMSA Certificate of Competency.

Skill set requirements

A total of 2 units of competency must be attained.
