This unit of competency describes the skills and knowledge required to develop or review the response plan to an emergency animal disease event for a workplace operating as a meat processing premises.

The unit applies to individuals who are responsible for developing or reviewing and testing an Emergency Animal Disease Response Plan (EADRP) as part of a workplace Approved Arrangement.

All work must be carried out to comply with workplace procedures, according to state/territory health and safety, food and meat safety regulations, legislation and standards that apply to the workplace.
