This unit describes the performance outcomes, skills and knowledge required to manage remotely piloted aircraft systems (RPAS) applications, approvals and permissions. It includes compiling the scope of missions for applications; collating resources and information to develop permissions and approvals; developing and submitting applications; applying for variation to a Remote Operator Certificate (ReOC) in addition to communicating approvals, permissions and parameters to remote pilots and relevant crew.
