This unit of competency specifies the skills and knowledge required to prepare a report for remedial scoping requirements as a result of the diagnosis of cause of water and moisture ingress in construction.
The unit applies to Class 1 and 10 Buildings, and Class 2 to 9 Buildings.
The unit covers planning and preparing to develop a scope of works, developing the scope and specifications, and documenting the scope of works and specifications.
The unit is suitable for builders, building supervisors, building surveyors, building designers, architects, waterproofing design specialists, waterproofing supervisors, and consultants, engineers or other design specialists.
