This unit of competency specifies the skills and knowledge required to patch prefabricated components of concrete elements, including determining requirements, preparing patching components, conducting the patching activity and cleaning up upon completion.

It requires using appropriate tools, equipment, materials and working at heights and in a team environment to patch prefabricated components of concrete elements.

A person who has achieved this unit of competency would be expected to follow safety regulations and relevant specifications.
