It involves checking that the planning, set-up, rehearsal, performance and review of hazardous action sequences comply with screen safety reports and industry codes of practice.

The unit applies to those directly involved in the planning and execution of hazardous action sequences. They take overall responsibility for minimising risk to cast and crew.
