This unit describes the skills and knowledge required to follow a musical director and instructions to sing or play simple musical parts in an ensemble situation.

The unit applies to those who have little or no musical experience and who need close guidance and supervision. These skills may apply to performing in community workshops and short programs of musical instruction.
