Select sites for creative projects and plan work

Application

This unit describes the skills and knowledge required to research potential sites for artwork in order to identify those that best reflect and support the key ideas of the work. The unit involves developing work plans and procedures for the installation of the artwork once the site is determined.

It applies to individuals who work in all areas of creative practice. Typically their work environment would be in a public art context involving the creation of artworks in public spaces. At this level, the individual would be expected to exercise autonomy and judgement and may work collaboratively.

No licensing, legislative or certification conditions apply to this unit at the time of publication.
