This unit describes the skills and knowledge required to develop techniques for integrating singing skills with the acting and dancing skills required for musical theatre performers. At this level, practise plans focus on techniques required for building both vocal and physical stamina required for sustaining a musical theatre role.

The unit applies to those who are performers aiming to integrate the vocal and movement skills required for musical theatre into their singing repertoire. The process includes supervision during practice sessions with an expectation that individuals also work independently to develop the required techniques.
