Assist personnel with Moral Injury through Pastoral Narrative Disclosure (PND)

Application

This unit describes the skills and knowledge required to provide Pastoral Narrative Disclosure (PND) to assist members and their families who may have Moral Injury.

This unit applies to Chaplaincy in Defence, although it would also apply to others who work in this field, including emergency first responders. This includes theology of multi-faith or other belief systems.

The skills and knowledge described in this unit must be applied within the legislative, regulatory and policy environment in which they are carried out. Organisational policies and procedures must be consulted and adhered to.

Those undertaking this unit would work independently and perform complex tasks in a complex environment.
