This unit of competency describes the skills and knowledge required to contribute to the development and implementation of aquatic plans and strategies by planning an aquatic environmental audit that incorporates ecological issues.

This unit applies to individuals who have specialised aquatic environmental knowledge and develop processes, liaise with clients and effectively identify audit processes for the environmental impact of aquatic practices.

All work must be carried out to comply with workplace procedures, according to state/territory health and safety, food safety, biosecurity and environmental regulations, legislation and standards that apply to the workplace.
