It includes maintaining systematic and efficient control of all taxi functions, monitoring traffic and road conditions, managing taxi condition and performance, and effectively managing hazardous situations. It also includes driving a taxi safely across a variety of driving contexts in compliance with relevant state/territory roads and traffic authority licence requirements and regulations for a commercial taxi.

Driving is performed with limited or no supervision, and with full accountability and responsibility for self and others in achieving the prescribed outcomes.
