This unit involves the skills and knowledge required to identify major roads, services and attractions.

It includes locating major roads, highways and suburbs in area of operation; and locating transport interchanges, jetties, ports, stations and terminals. It also includes identifying main public services and facilities and locating key features in a central business district on a map.

Work is performed with limited supervision, and with duty of care responsibility for self and others in achieving the prescribed outcomes.
