Electrical equipment includes any machine powered by electricity used in a power generation facility. Electrical maintenance should be undertaken regularly to ensure the smooth operation of all relevant equipment.

Competency in this unit requires the ability to plan work, conduct minor electrical maintenance and the completion of work. Individuals will, in general, work as an operator in a power generation facility.
