Environmental site planning is the process of meeting legislative and regulatory obligations, identifying risks, determining risk control strategies and responding quickly to incidents.
Competency in this unit requires the ability to plan for quality control, monitor quality control and complete all documentation. Individuals will, in general, work as an operator or technician, in a power generation facility.
Power generation plant operators are typically trained and authorised to isolate, prepare plant and issue permits to work.
